Victor William Kunst, Jr., 57, of Columbia has been sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by supervised release for life, for possession of child pornography.
In April 2006, Kunst allegedly purchased a subscription for a child pornography website.
During a search of his home in September, 2007, Howard County police officers recovered a computer, multiple pieces of removable media, a password list for numerous listed websites. On that computer and media, officers found more than 5,000 pictures and 200 videos of suspected child pornography.
Back in November, 2002, Kunst was convicted for sexual child abuse and sentenced to 3 years, all suspended and three years supervised probation. Kunst 's probation period was extended and expired on November 22, 2007.
He is a registered sex offender.
