A sex offender who tried to lure young girls this summer was sentenced to eight years in prison this morning.
Kelly D. Snodgrass, 38, of Elyria, pleaded guilty in September to two counts each of attempted pandering obscenity involving a minor, attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and criminal child enticement.
Snodgrass withdrew a motion to revoke his guilty plea and Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Christopher Rothgery sentenced him to eight years. The maximum sentence Snodgrass could have received was 22 years in prison.
