Police arrested a Panama City man on sexual battery charges Monday, claiming he lured two teenage boys into his van and committed felony acts against one of the boys.
Police said Michael Charles McCoy, 35, of East Seventh Street, was charged Monday with lewd or lascivious battery on a 14-year-old boy and lewd or lascivious conduct on a 15-year-old, according to a Panama City Police Department release.
Officials said McCoy was in the area of A.D. Harris High School in Panama City on Saturday when he approached the boys and invited them into his van to watch pornographic videos. Once inside, McCoy, had one of the boys perform sex acts on him, police said.
McCoy, a state-registered sex offender in another state, was on probation and being supervised by the Florida Department of Corrections for crimes committed in the New England area, the release said.
