Raymond William Hainline - Repeat Sex Offender - Gets 50 year sentence

A registered sex offender was sentenced this week to 50 years in prison for raping and sodomizing an 11-year-old girl.

Judge Kathie F. Steele sentenced Raymond William Hainline Monday in Clackamas County Circuit Court. Hainline, 54, a transient formerly of Boring, was convicted last week of two counts each of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

The three-day trial included testimony from another victim whose case was not prosecuted because the statute of limitations had expired.

Sheriff's Detective Lisa Shipley said she arrested Hainline in April, after the girl reported the one-time incident to authorities. Hainline was on parole from a previous sex-related conviction at the time of his arrest.
