A 48-year-old Amherst man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison after being convicted on charges he received and distributed child pornography on his computer.

Jeffery Jannuzzi was convicted of one count each of possession of child pornography, receipt/distribution of child pornography and receipt/distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

All of the charges relate to material found on computers, said Bill Edwards, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for northern Ohio. Jannuzzi was sentenced by Judge Christopher A. Boyko on Wednesday to serve 151 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, according to court documents.
