Sex offender sentenced today

A former Sycamore Junior High School coach could face serving 125 years in prison when he is sentenced this morning on 16 sex charges.

Frederick Robbins, 51, is scheduled to appear at 8:30 a.m. before Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Ethna M. Cooper, court records show.

Robbins was arrested in September 2006 after he allegedly exposed himself to two young girls in the garage of his Amberley Village home.

He quit his job and pleaded guilty in October to 16 sex charges, including gross sexual imposition and pandering sexually oriented material to minors, records show.
