Balazs Asztalos - One of World's Most Wanted - First to be arrested

A picture of Mr Asztalos was published yesterday at 8.30am and within four hours the UK call centre for Crimestoppers was told where he could be found.

A suspected paedophile who is wanted by Hungarian police has been found working at a bungee ride in the city centre.

Crimestoppers launched a worldwide hunt for dangerous fugitives and released an appeal to find 25-year-old Balazs Asztalos, who was believed to be working in Milton Keynes.

At 8.30am on Sunday, within hours of the appeal, the UK charity received an anonymous tip-off from a caller who said Mr Asztalos was working at the bungee ball outside the Xscape building.
The Hungarian, from Szekszard, is wanted on suspicion of sexually abusing a four-year-old child in Tolna, Hungary, in 2007.
At 12.30pm police swooped at the ride in the Xscape car park and arrested him for questioning.

A spokesman for Crimestoppers said: "We had an anonymous call and it provided some useful information because he was arrested at 12.30pm.

"He was operating a bungee jump in Milton Keynes."

It is the first result for the UK charity's new operation, called International Fugitive Round
