A former art teacher at a premier public school has admitted keeping child pornography on his home computer.
Former Scarsdale High School teacher Allen Julier said in federal court Friday he kept more than 100 images and 10 videos of illicit material on a computer in his Carmel home. He pleaded guilty to one count of illegal possession of child pornography.
Under a plea agreement, he's expected to face up to 63 months in prison. He is being held without bail until his sentencing, set for May 2.
Julier told a judge he downloaded online images containing child pornography.
Julier taught at the high-achieving school from 1986 until his arrest the day before school started in September, when he was put on administrative leave.
