WANTED: David Gold - Cincinnati - Repeat Sex Offender - Convicted Child Molester

Detectives are looking for another one of the Tri-state’s most wanted sex offenders, and they need your help.

David Gold has been convicted of sexually assaulting two children, including a 5-year-old, but police said he can’t be located.

"If he has the two convictions there, who knows how many more he's had,” said Adam Breeze of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s department.

News 5 checked Gold’s last known address, at an apartment on Vine Street, but neighbors said they hadn’t seen him around.

Prosecutors said habitual offenders such as Gold make them cringe, and they said close monitoring is crucial to preventing other children from becoming victimized.

Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel said she knows the type.

“People like Dean Allen Strunk are extremely dangerous,” said Hutzel, who helped put Strunk behind bars. “He would go into the houses when he knew the parents were gone. He bound and gagged (his victims) and took them into remote areas, like a wooded area, raped them and left them there.”

One of Strunk’s victims tried to express the deep pain left behind, long after the attack.

“I saw you,” said the victim, who asked to remain anonymous. “I saw your face. I heard your voice. I knew what you were capable of. You are a monster, a rapist, a predator, a pedophile. You have destroyed so many lives. You gave me a life sentence. You gave all of us a life sentence. You deserve that.”

Strunk was sentenced to more than 50 years in prison, but repeat offender Gold was released on the condition that he would keep authorities informed of his whereabouts.

However, authorities said Gold slipped away and they’ve lost track of him.

They’re asking you to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040 if you have seen Gold or know where he might be.
