A Rio Americano High School history teacher was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of molesting several children, Sacramento County sheriff's Sgt. Tim Curran said.
Gregory J. Rayburn, 54, was taken into custody Wednesday morning at his Grass Valley home, Curran said.
According to officials, the alleged victims -- two 17-year-old girls and two 16-year-old girls -- were all students at Rio Americano.
The San Juan Unified School District teacher is in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail on a $120,000 bail, Curran said, and he faces 15 counts of child annoyance and two counts of sexual battery.
"Child annoyance is the inappropriate conversations that he had with the victims as well as posing the victims for inappropriate photographs," Curran said.
Detectives said that Rayburn provided outfits for the photographs.
The incidents happened on campus, Curran said.
Curran said Rayburn was employed at Rio Americano during the 2006-07 school year.
Trent Allen from the San Juan Unified School District said Raymond has been on administrative leave since December 2007
