A grand jury has indicted a Potosi, Mo. man on 120 criminal charges, most of them sexual in nature. The charges against Gregory Parsons include sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child porn, child molestation, statutory sodomy, rape, incest and kidnapping.
The 120 counts involved in the indictment were associated with eight victims, ranging in age from one to eight-years-old. The crimes allegedly occurred between November 2007 and April 2008.
Parsons, a father, also appears on the sex offender registry for rape and indecent exposure convictions in Oklahoma.
Washington County Prosecutor John Rupp said three recent search warrants were conducted at Parsons' apartment, where deputies found evidence on computers and evidence that Parsons filmed and took photos of the children in sexual acts. Rupp said some of the video was posted online by Parsons.
"It's a lot of counts and it's probably one of the most counts in a single incident that has ever been reported by a Washington County grand jury," said Rupp.
Rupp said Parsons has a live-in girlfriend and also has family in the area. He would not elaborate on how the suspect came into contact with the victims.
In addition to the 120 count indictment, federal authorities also indicted Parsons on 13 counts of possessing child pornography.
Parsons remains in jail on $3 million cash only bond.
