A manhunt is underway for a convicted sex offender who's run away while serving home detention in Sydney's southwest.
Police believe 28-year-old Troy Myers left his Campbelltown home on Sunday - he's considered dangerous and the public is urged not to approach him.
It's believed Myers has cut off his electronic monitoring system and may have travelled to Bankstown.
He was required to stay in Campbelltown following his conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a person under 16.
Myers has been described as being of white/European appearance, 184cm tall, medium build, with fair complexion, hazel eyes and receding fair hair.
