Investigators are searching for a southwest Houston man after discovering more than 100 child pornography videos on a computer seized last week during a search of his home.
Members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant on Thursday at the home of Keith Scott Holland, 49, officials said.
At first, Holland wouldn't answer the door when the investigators with the multi-agency task force arrived at his home in the 9500 block of Ella Lee Lane, officers said.
"When they finally got in, he had tried to hide his computer," said Eric Devlin, a Harris County assistant district attorney. "They found it under a chair."
Holland is suspected of sharing child pornography videos stored in his computer for several months. An undercover investigator with the task force obtained four or five incriminating videos from him, Devlin said.
Holland confessed to trading the videos, but left in a Jaguar sedan while the investigators were searching his home, Devlin said.
"He bolted before the search warrant was done," the prosecutor said. "We believe he is still in the Houston area."
Investigators said Holland is a salesman specializing in leather goods at several stores in the Houston area.
Holland, who is white, is 6 feet tall, weighs 175 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, officers said.
An arrest warrant has been issued, charging him with two counts of possession of child pornography. Bail set at a total of $100,000.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to Holland's arrest. Anyone with information can call 713-222-TIPS or submit tips online at www.crime-stoppers.org. All callers will remain anonymous.
