A convicted sex offender who was out on probation was charged Wednesday with possessing child pornography.
An Allen County probation officer arrested Kevin J. Miller, 37, of New Haven on Feb. 4 on a charge of violating probation after the officer saw child pornography on Miller’s computer during a home visit, according to a probable cause affidavit.
In a subsequent investigation of Miller’s hard drive and CD and DVD collection, New Haven police turned up three images with child pornography and 21 CDs with child pornography, the affidavit said.
Miller, who spent a year and nine months in prison on two 2006 child exploitation charges, faces five counts of possession of child pornography.
