Minneapolis Police say they’ve caught a prowler along with some disturbing evidence—a video camera with images of women, unaware they were being taped. Larry Woods, Jr. was caught, police say, in an alley near Franklin and Chicago in south Minneapolis Sunday night with a video camera and a tape of women who didn’t know they were in his sights.
Officers arrested Woods on suspicion of interfering with privacy, a gross misdemeanor. He remains in custody at the Hennepin County Jail, pending charges.
"We have the blinds closed most all the time," said John Kelly, Woods’ next-door neighbor.
He and other neighbors did not know that Woods is a sex offender, convicted of raping a woman in 2001.
According to the 2001 complaint from court archives, Woods pled guilty to hitting a woman, holding her down, and pulling off her clothes.
Now out of prison, he's accused of taking advantage of women again.
