The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana is asking anyone who may be a victim, or who may know a victim, of a Valparaiso man indicted in federal court on child pornography charges to contact the U.S. Attorney or the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Investigations.
Nathaniel Josiah Worden, 28, has been charged, in a superseding indictment, with advertising child pornography, transportation of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said today.
The indictment also includes a notification that Worden was a registered sex offender at the time.
The Valparaiso Police Department, the Indiana State Police, the Lake County Sheriff’s Police, the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the South Burlington Police Department, and ICE participated in the investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office is asking “anyone who has further information or believes they may be or know a victim of Nathaniel J. Worden are asked to please call (219) 937-5636 or their local Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Investigations.”
