A Madison man faces a possible life prison sentence after he was charged Monday with the sexual assaults of two girls between 2003 and 2009.
Warren D. Suggs, 36, was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child for allegedly fondling an 8-year-old girl last year at her home. He was also charged in a separate case with repeated sexual assault of a child for incidents in which he fondled a 13-year-old girl over a six-year period that ended in March.
The older girl told police that Suggs had even offered her money to allow him to keep touching her, according to a criminal complaint.
Suggs was convicted of child enticement in 1997 and is a registered sex offender. Under Wisconsin’s two-strikes law for sex offenders who target children, he faces life imprisonment if convicted in either case.
Suggs is not in custody and is being sought on warrants.
