Ernest Troupe Jr., 39, was charged with rape and sexual battery of a child between the ages of 16 and 17.The victim, a teenage girl, is known to Troupe, and officials say the reported abuse took place over a six-month period.
Troupe has a previous conviction for lewd conduct with a minor out of Bannock County in 1993. He was released from Idaho Department of Correction custody in May 2008, according to prison records.
Troupe's latest listed address is in the neighborhood of Cloverdale and Lake Hazel roads in southern Ada County.
