A federal grand jury indicted a twice-convicted sex offender on charges that he downloaded child pornography at the University of Louisville's art library.Kenneth Lapradd, 47, was arrested in March.
Investigators said they found numerous images of child pornography after searching Lapradd's apartment.
After his arrest, a judge said Lapradd should be kept in jail. The judge said Lapradd was a danger to the community.
If convicted, Lapradd could receive a maximum sentence of 55 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
