WANTED: Jerry Malone Sexual Predator

Jerry Malone hasn't been seen in a year, and the U.S. Marshal needs to know where he is today.
That's why Marshal Peter J. Elliott has declared Malone the Fugitive of the Week for Monday, December 17, 2007.

Malone, who calls himself "Candy," was convicted of rape in 1964 and of murder and sexual battery in 1993.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force considers him dangerous because of his extensive and violent criminal history.

"He has been involved in the criminal justice system since the 60's. He needs to be monitored and he needs to be brought back into custody quickly," says Deputy US Marshal David Siler.

Siler describes Malone as a black male who stands 5-feet 8-inches tall and weight 160 pounds. Malone had claimed to live at a homeless shelter at 2100 Lakeside Avenue when he last reported an address, but does not reside there.

Deputies believe he is somewhere in the Cleveland area. The law requires sexual predators to report their current address to the local sheriff and to maintain contact. Malone has not.

Malone has associates throughout Greater Cleveland and used to list the homeless shelter on Lakeside Avenue as his address. He has used the names Gary Malone and Candy Malone.

If you have any information about Malone and where he may be living, call the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Hotline at 1-866-4-WANTED. There is a reward for information that leads to Malone's apprehension.
