A man wanted on 20 counts of child sexual abuse in New York has been arrested in Georgia.
Anthony Kroeger, 48, was arrested last week after his roommate did an Internet search on him and tipped off police that he was in the west Georgia town of Carrollton, police Capt. Chris Dobbs said. Kroeger was wanted on multiple warrants from Steuben County, N.Y., after he failed to appear in court on charges including production of child pornography and use of children in sexual performance.
Kroeger, an exotic fish dealer, was indicted on the charges in June and was out on $25,000 bond, Dobbs said. He is being extradited back to New York, Dobbs said.
