Christian Academy Former Coach Must Register As Sex Offender

A former Orlando Christian Academy girl's basketball coach must register as a sex offender as part of his sentence for having sex with a 14-year old.

William Lanham found out Tuesday that in addition to registering, he will have to wear a monitor for the next two years and be on supervised probation for the next 15 years.

Deputies said they found found child pornography and marijuana in Lanham's apartment when they arrested him. They searched the apartment after a woman told deputies she had sex with Lanham while she was a student at St. John Vianney Middle School, where Lanham worked at the time.

The woman also told them Lanham videotaped some of their encounters.
