A Titusville man is in jail after law enforcement officers discovered he didn’t register as a sex offender.
James Daniel Buie, 41, was arrested by Brevard County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday and charged with failing to report an address change, violation of probation and resisting arrest without violence.
He was arrested around 8 p.m. in the 900 block of Fee Avenue in Melbourne and taken to the county jail in Sharpes for booking.
Buie is being held without bond. He was found guilty in August 2007 of lewd and lascivious molestation to a victim between 12 and 15 and sentenced to community supervision.
