Lawrence F. Keiser II - Sexual predator gets 10 years

A New Oxford man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, and a lifetime of supervision once he's released, for his attempts to contact two boys for the purpose of sex, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday.

Lawrence F. Keiser II, 27, had been charged with trying to entice and induce minors to engage in sexual activity, and receipt and possession of child pornography.

The Friday press release from the Justice Department does not identify the charges of which Keiser was convicted.

The indictment against Keiser charged that, using the name Larz, he made contact with an undercover agent using the alias "John," and discussed the making of sexually explicit movies using 14-year-old boys as actors, acting U.S. Attorney Martin Carlson said in the release. Keiser requested the undercover agent send him video clips and/or still photos of underage boys having sex, the indictment stated.
