LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.—A convicted sex offender has been arrested on suspicion of sending child pornography to an undercover officer posing as a teenage boy.
Orange County sheriff's officials said J. Randall Ismay was taken into custody Tuesday at his home in Laguna Niguel. Deputies also seized his computer.
Ismay came under investigation in November when he was chatting online with an officer in Keene, New Hampshire who was posing as a 14-year-old boy. Authorities claimed Ismay sent child pornography to the officer. Ismay, who was convicted of crimes against children in 1974 and 1992, was being held on $100,000 bail.
