Loren Henley - Coach and Teacher arrested for Child Porn and Sexual Exploitation of a minor

A teacher and wrestling coach from Villa Rica High School was arrested this week in Floyd County on a child pornography charge, authorities said.

Loren Henley, 28, a first-year algebra teacher and assistant wrestling coach who lives in Rome, was arrested Wednesday morning on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office. He was released later that morning from the Floyd County jail on $10,850 bond.

Henley is accused of having photos or other materials of juveniles engaging in sexually explicit behavior between June 1 and August 1, the sheriff's office reported.

"It's obviously an unfortunate situation for everybody involved," Villa Rica Athletic Director Rob Cleveland said.

Cleveland said he did not know how the arrest would affect Henley's status as a teacher and coach, but said Henley was not at the school on Thursday and did not attend wrestling practice.
