Paul Peters, 50, of 32 S. State St., was arrested this summer as part of a statewide child pornography sting led by state and federal authorities. Investigators tracked a transmission of child pornography to Peters, and a search of his apartment revealed hundreds of photographs and films, according to federal authorities.
Peters pleaded guilty in September to one count of possession of child pornography and was sentenced yesterday in federal court. Upon his release from prison, Peters will remain on federal probation for the rest of his life.
