Jason Paul Hunter - Internet Predator gets Life in Prison

A man who lured two boys through the Internet and sexually assaulted one of them has been sentenced in Reno to two life terms in prison.

Jason Paul Hunter must serve at least 20 years before being eligible for parole under the sentence imposed by Senior District Judge Noel Manoukian.

Hunter earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of lewdness with a child.

Hunter's lawyer say his client was caught up in a fantasy when he placed an ad on the Internet site Craig's List, posing as a woman looking to party with young men.

Authorities say the victim's 15-year-old friend in November had e-mailed Hunter, whom he believed was a woman named Maria.

The boy told Hunter he was 18.

Posing as Maria, authorities say Hunter told him to bring his friend over to her cousin's apartment where they would party.

Investigators say Hunter provided the boys alcohol, and sexually assault the 13-year-old boy when he passed out.
