Los Angeles police identified a suspect in a North Hollywood sexual assault investigation on Tuesday.

Police said at an afternoon news conference that 41-year-old Omar Flores was arrested for his alleged role in the assault.

Flores alleged approached a 12-year-old boy at a bus stop on Sherman Way and Lankershim Boulevard, according to police.

Police said that Flores lured the boy into his car by promising him a lot of money, and then allegedly took photos of the boy with varying levels of clothing on.

The boy did not want to fully remove his clothing and was able to escape, police said.

Bail was set for Flores at $700,000.
