A registered sex offender from Florence County is awaiting a bond hearing.
The Florence Sheriff’s Office arrested Stacy Lee Evans February 27. He is charged with kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct 1st degree.
The sheriff’s office says Evans forced a woman from the parking lot of an after hours lounge February 23 drove her to several location in Florence County, and sexually and physically assaulted the woman.
The victim notified authorities after Evans left her in a car in the parking lot of a convenience store.
Evans is in custody at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
