James Anthony Salazar - Repeat Sex Offender - WANTED

Pueblo police are asking for the public's help in locating a registered sex offender who allegedly sexually assaulted a child while on parole.

Police say 31-year-old James Anthony Salazar is a Registered Sex Offender and is wanted for violating parole. Police say Salazar was on parole when he allegedly re-offended and sexually assaulted a child.

There is an active pending investigation on Salazar at this time. Salazar is described as a Hispanic male, 6’ tall, 165 lbs., brown eyes and brown hair. Salazar’s was last seen driving a 1978 blue Mercury Cougar with Colorado license plate 041POG. Police say they believe Salazar will assault again is an escape risk.
