A 57-year-old Silverton man has pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of sexually explicit images of minors. Kenneth Hendryx, a registered sex offender for a 1993 lewd conduct with a minor conviction, was arrested last fall after law enforcement officers searched his home and found child pornography on his computer. He's scheduled to be sentenced in June.

Kenneth Hendryx was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and 15 years strictly supervised probation.
