A husband, wife and adult daughter were all suspected of sexually molesting children and videotaping the process.
Now the husband has admitted his guilt, and the judge sentenced him on the spot.
47-year-old Charles Roseberry of the Bellaire area changed his plea to guilty.
Judge Jennifer Sargus wasted no time in sending him straight to prison.
But the mother of one of the victims had some scorching words for him before he left.
The sentencing hearing is often when the defense puts on witnesses to say good things about the defendant.
But there was not much of that in the Roseberry case.
Roseberry turned down the chance to explain his actions that led to the two rape convictions.
His defense attorney, Michelle Miller, did say it is to his credit that he pled guilty early in the process, to minimize further trauma to the victims.
But the mother of one of the victims said her daughter's trauma will never be minimized.
The woman said her daughter "just wanted to make sure that he (Roseberry) will stay in prison for the rest of his life, and when that ends, that he rots in Hell afterward."Prosecutor Chris Berhalter asked for two consecutive life sentences, saying this case is about stolen innocence.
"The defendant robbed children of their innocence," said Berhalter. "And no child was safe from him. And due to two very brave young victims and an outstanding investigation by the Belmont County Sheriff's Department and Belmont County Childrens Services, we were given the opportunity here to not only hold him accountable for what he has done but to ensure there would never be another victim."
Judge Jennifer Sargus sentenced Roseberry to the maximum, ten years to life on each of the two counts, to be served consecutively. His daughter Kimberly Roseberry pled guilty yesterday to one count of attempted rape.
He will have to serve 20 years before he is eligible for parole.
He will be 67 years old by then, and may never be released.
"Her sentencing has been continued until November, when she faces up to eight years in prison," said Berhalter.
Charles Roseberry's wife, Martha, allegedly videotaped the incidents.
She is charged with three counts of complicity to rape and three counts of pandering child obscenity.
Her trial is set for October.
