James D. Turner Jr - Repeat Sex Offender - Exposes self

A 48-year-old convicted sex offender from Sheboygan was sentenced to 18 months in prison this week for violating his probation after being arrested for exposing himself to a female neighbor, according to court records released Wednesday.

James D. Turner Jr., of 1624 S. 11th St., had his probation revoked on July 23 and was sentenced to prison on Monday. He will receive a 345-day sentence credit.

Court records show that Turner was taken into custody after exposing his genitals to a neighbor. Turner was charged in July with lewd behavior – a misdemeanor – and will appear in court later this month.

Turner was on probation after being convicted in 2007 of felony stalking, court records show. Turner had on multiple occasions attempted to coerce women to get inside his vehicle, including a 17-year-old girl who was walking home from work.

Turner was also convicted in 1985, and again in 1991, of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
