Stone told the police that he "... was looking to meet women"
On Wednesday, Sept. 2, a woman was riding a bike in Lancaster Park in Lexington Park and minding her own business, when she passed a man near the woods. He was dressed, innocently enough, in shorts and a shirt.
The woman thought nothing of it at the time and continued her exercise. However, the next time the woman passed that part of the park, the man jumped from the woods completely naked and displayed himself to the woman with a smile.
The woman found two park employees who proceeded to call police. When police responded, the man could be seen naked about a hundred yards away from the original area where he first flashed the woman. Police called for additional units and gave chase to the man through the woods.
A short while later, Kenneth Paul Stone, 46, of Charles County was apprehended on Route 235. He was arrested and taken into custody.
In doing a case search, it was discovered that this is not Stone’s first offense. In 2007 he was arrested for Indecent Exposure in Charles County and sentenced to three years jail. All three years were suspended and he received five years of supervised probation. When he was arrested, witnesses report that Stone told the police that he “... was looking to meet women,” when apprehended today.
In 2003, Stone was arrested for Indecent Exposure in Charles County and given a three year sentence. From the report, it appears that Stone served all that time.
However, Stone was also arrested, once again, for Indecent Exposure in Worcester County (Ocean City) in 1998 and for reasons not explained in the research, he was not prosecuted.
