Walter Wayne Smith - Repeat Sex Offender - Busted for Sexting

A 36-year-old man exchanged phone numbers with a 15-year-old girl, authorities say, and the "sexting" began.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday arrested Walter Wayne Smith, of 3100 Finch Drive in Holiday, on accusations he sent messages to the girl asking about her body, then graduated to sending her a picture of his genitals and soliciting sex acts.

Smith, who is a registered sex offender, was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct. He was released from the county jail Thursday after posting $10,000 bail.
