A 29-year-old Tarrant County man has been indicted on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography. A federal grand jury in Fort Worth last week charged James Randall Madewell, formerly of North Richland Hills, with having child pornography on his computer in 2004.
If convicted, Mr. Madewell faces up to 30 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
Mr. Madewell surrendered to federal authorities on Feb. 14 following his indictment a day earlier.
He is set to be arraigned today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Bleil.
