A retired Richmond County deputy is accused of molesting his daughter. Investigators arrested Frank Glover Tuesday afternoon.
Glover is charged with two counts of child molestation. According to the indictment, he touched his 15-year-old daughter in a sexual manner on two separate occasions in May.
Investigators say this isn't the first time Glover has been accused of child molestation.
In 2005, while he was still working for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, Glover's stepdaughter accused him of molesting her. Charges were never filed in that case.
The mother, who doesn't want to be identified, says she finally gets to see the father of her child, Glover, be brought to justice.
"I was shocked. I was hurt. I was shocked for something like this to happen," the woman said.
The mother says only the truth can help her daughter heal.
"She just wanted him to be truthful about what he did to her. That's all she wanted. She didn't want anything bad to happen. She just wanted him to be truthful," the mother said.
Glover worked at the Richmond County Sheriff's Office for 25 years. He retired in October.
