A union leader and convicted sex offender has been arrested and accused of possessing thousands of images of child pornography while living next to a day care center.
Jaime Feliciano, 49, allegedly had thousands of child pornography images on a computer inside his house. The state workers union leader and state insurance department researcher lived right next door to a home day care where a dozen kids come and go every day.
"Obviously, it's very disturbing to hear that," said one father who picked up a child from the day care.
Feliciano is a registered sex offender who was previously convicted of lewd acts with a child under 14. The law forbids sex offenders from living close to schools or parks, but not from home day care businesses.
